This copy with an ORIGINAL SIGNED DRAWING by Arp on first blank leaf and a dedication 'à Louis Broder'. The drawing is signed four times by Arp. The book is also signed on the title-page.
Written between 1915 and 1920, these 'cloud pump' poems were Arp's early attempts at concrete poetry, the prose composed of torn apart sentences, words and syllables. Arp related these works to the poetry of Ball, Tzara and Kandinsky which he had heard at the Cabaret Voltaire.
