I want to spend the rest of my life everywhere, with everyone, one to one, always, forever, now
Hirst, Damien
New York. Monacelli Press. 1998
Sold
A fine copy of the first reprint of Hirst's influential first book, signed by Hirst and others and with an original drawing of a shark.
Hirst's first publication encompasses the entire range of his work - paintings, scultures, installations and films - illustrated by his own choice of images.
This copy signed by Damien Hirst on the title page - he has also drawn a large shark across the same page. This copy is additionally signed on the half-title by two behemoths of rock - Bono of U2 and Mick Jagger. Bono has intriguingly incorporated a 'Hirst' bufferfly into his signature. The book was signed at the opening reception of Hirst's 'End of an Era' show at the Gagosian Gallery, New York, January 2010.
