London. Studio International Publications Ltd. 1972
Sold
This represents Baldessari's first artist book, presented in a hanging wall calendar format. It is complete with a thumb-tack hole, as issued at lower margin. An image is placed on the upper side of the calendar with a parable on the lower half translated into four languages, English, French, German and Italian. Each parable has a moral - usually a witty remark - such as Historical mispronounced sounds like hysterical and Beware of artists with a golden tongue.
