A good copy with large margins of the third edition of Etherege's comedy.

The first edition was produced in 1668 and was followed by a second of 1671. This copy also with the ticket and programme for a 1979 production of the play at the Greenwich Theatre directed by Jonathan Miller as well as British Library call slips for copies of the first, second and third editions of the drama and the owner's notes on the comparative differences between the editions.

[40 leaves; pp. 76]. Collation: A4 - I4, K4. Small 4to. Printed title, dramatis personae verso and Etherege's comedy on following leaves. Some spotting and staining throughout, final leaf with repair. Sheet size: 220 x 173 mm. Disbound, stitched.
