Modes et Manières d'Aujourd'Hui was a leading fashion periodical of the Art Deco period and the pochoir plates illustrate the height of French fashion at the time. Each volume contained fashion plates by a different artist, here by Georges Lepape and was supplemented by text and poems by a featured writer. Published between 1912 - 1923, there was a total of seven volumes and each one was limited to only 300 copies. Because of the popularity of the individual pochoir prints complete volumes in the original folders are rare.

Half-title, title, further title leaf and 16 leaves with 'Douze Poèmes' by Hanry-Jacques each printed recto only, title leaf and 12 pochoir fashion plates by Georges Lepape, leaf with justification and leaf with achevé d'imprimer. Loose in the original card portfolio with decorative printed paper flaps and title and vignette to front cover; wear to paper portfolio flaps, front tie torn.
